Hi,
I know that not everything you read on the internet should be taken at face value... but... I found a blog the other day (can't remember the link now) from someone who swears by dosing x amount of salt in their FRESHWATER tropical tank. They then go on to say that this isn't a problem for corys or other cats (and this is where the alarm bells started to ring) that corys are ok with all meds - which from reading this forum I know not to be the case.
Benefits of adding salt seemed to be along the lines of the fact that all fish need some salt.
I'm obviously not going to do this without knowing a bit more... but what do you think?
