Saintly's "pastel Shades" The Return

it's been some time since i've done a journal on here, but i feel that i'd like to contribute a tad more

here's the plan....this was my firt scape called "pastel shades"

this scape taught me a lot and i want to try and do something along the lines of....stems and colours. it's also a learning scape, to try and grow plants i've never had a go with.

the hardcsape layout...theres a variation on this slightly

How steady is the light hanging thing? That would make me sooooo nervous lol. It looks great though!

the light stand is rock solid, it hung for about 2 weeks prior.

i'm using the oliver knott Naturesoil substrate which is amazing, this is directly after filling with water....

OK, this is the last shot for a while. it's similar to the others but without kit, clear water and ripple.

i'll report back in a couple of weeks after time has done it's bit,

well, i've added the shrimp. there are 10 in all. one is huge and i found that the others like to take a ride. they also clean him/her. see the pic.

also the other pic is of the pearling and the Marsilea hirsuta. the shoot you see has grown in 4 days.

1 week old. the addition of 10 shrimp 6 neons 10 ottos and 3 pencil fish, bring about a sense of life within.

plant growth has been 100% positive. everything doing what it should

a few pics.

another week and i'll be trimming the stems
