Ok first off, this is sorta more than one question, part one, has anyone ever had their heater dial just fall off? it's a submersible heater with the red twisty knob to adjust temperature to - or + no numbers. My red knob has come off. I don't know if that is like a total disaster or workable so long as I don't really want to adjust the temp?
Second I purchased two, what were labeled as "siamese flying fox" from petco today. Now, I'm just trying to figure out what they really are. I'm sorry I didn't get a scientific name. Right now they like to hang about together . I can't tell if they have barbels or not, but the fins lack color except the tail fin which has part of the black stripe that runs along it's body extending onto it. I do have a few not great pictures but I hope they are slightly helpful.
