My SAE use to dart around the tank all day but now all he does is hide away, I've had a white spot outbreak recently but he didn't seem to be effected, but since the meds his hardly moving just sitting under some bog wood with the shrimps, his breathing did seem really heavy but that is better now. I have moved him into my hospital tank as I didn't want the other fish to stress him, all the water levels are good and I normally do water changes every third day. There are no visible signs on his body, he just sits at the bottom of the tank and he also dosen't eat, his been like this for four days now The fish in the tank never use to bother him so he was never stressed. Anyone have any ideas why his acting like this.

Thanks

How many gallons or litres is the main tank.
How many fish and which type.
Water stats in ammonia, nitrite, nitrate, and ph.

Does he look skinny or bloated. If skinny did he lose weight before he stopped eating.
Does he look pale or darker in colour.
Does he act listless and lethagic.
Does he still dart, or labour breath.
Any excess mucas on his body or his gills.
What dc his gills look like.
What does it look like when he goes to the toilet.
Is his tummy sunken in.
Does his eyes bulge out, or look sunken in.
Does he try to get off the substrate only to fall back down again.
Does he lean to onside when resting.
Does his anus look enlarged or red and inflamed.

Well I noticed yesterday he was looking better and was moving, today when I got back from work his eating algae of the plants and swimming round the tank so I really can't explain what happened, it might of been the shock of increased temperature from my white spot outbreak maybe a delayed reaction, I really can't explain it. My water stats are good.

Nitrite 0
Ammonia 0
PH 7.5

I have today added 2 airstones as read SAE's like a fast current, so hopefully his as happy as a Pig in S%@T
