It's not an ideal size for any Malawi and I ,personally, wouldn't put 5 Rusty Cichlids in a tank that size.

I would avoid adding any Malawi Cichlids to that tank as they ideally need a tank that is 180 litres+, although 4ft would be better.
If you like Cichlids, then why not consider some Tanganikyan or Dwarf Cichlids?
