Rummy Nose Tiger Barbs……

When did these fellers happen? First time I’ve seen em today. So that’s four colour morphs I’m aware of. Anymore to keep a look out for?
It’s a shame they’re all so psychotic cos if not their variety and liveliness would make for an entertaining tank.

No. They were in my local Maidenhead. Biggest U.K. specialist aquatics chain.

There's nothing wrong with TBs, as long as they are kept in a species-only tank, IMO

Males have red noses anyway...could they have been regular male tiger barbs?
If not go back and get us a photo!

Severe alcoholism, burst blood vessels in the nose combined with punches to the nose as they cavort about just being themselves. Rum nose tiger barbs - remember, they were someone's favourite fish once...

They were white all over apart from their red noses. Next time I’m in there I’ll take a pic if they’re still there.

Tiger barbs are great fish. I have mine with clown loaches, a Texas cichlid, and a polar blue convict (or parrot, whichever you prefer calling it)

I just did a google search and that's what came up. I thought Albinos too

Probably are just albinos but named rummy noses by the aquatic chain Maidenheads.
