Since I've just taken down a 10 gallon tank that had camallanus worms, my dressers top looks VERY empty.

I think tomarrow Im going to buy this tank and a betta to go with it :)

Im really interested in a Plakat but I was looking at images of Rountails and they looked the same as Plakats.

Does anyone know the difference between Plakats and Rountails?

Thanks

A Roundtail is still classed as a long finned type and is very different to a Plakat which comes from the wild types of Betta and has much shorter fins.

This is a roundtail

ok thanks netty.

Just wondering which are more preffered/sought after?

The place I'm going to pick up from on Tuesday has both male and female roundtails and plakats.

I would go with whichever one jumps out and catches your eye. You'll know when you get there :good:

hehe i kknow that is exactly what will happen. :) Im very very excited and I hope there is some sexy looking fish there. Definitly will post pics when I get him home.

I've only ever had my one boy Sparkles, a purple/blue/red veil tail. I've had him for 3 years now and he is getting verrrry old and sluggish. I love him loads but all he does it lay on the sand, he will swim a bit when I come close but not for long. Poor guy :(

I'm also kind of sneaking the tank and fish into my room so there is a bit nervousness around it all as well but it will be worth it so I dont mind one bit:)
