What exactly is a dutch style? When in comparison to a Amano style?

A Dutch style is more like an arrangement of plants rather than making an imaginary scape. Most Dutch style tanks have a lot of stem plants and do not have a lot of open areas and hardscape. It really is just a tank full of bright, healty plants.

The tank looks good, however I would personally put some plants with finer leaves in to create a sense of scale.

Very nice.. :good: The plants look very healthy and the red plant in the middle is lovely.. Hmm wish I could plant my tank like that...

My sags have crazy growth as well, they need almost weekly pruning to keep them low and not to compact.

BTW this is a good example of Dutch scapes

Well its been a while, mainly due to a new job taking up lots of time. However things are a bit calmer so am looking at sorting out the tanks.

Mainly done some light maintenance and pruning but not much more.

The flame and weeping moss had a moment and died off, but from the odd bits left resurrected the weeping.

The Windolev also took a turn for the worse then got a lot of Black Hair Algea. So that was pulled out.

Added 7 Ember Tetras last July and 6 are left.
