Rotala Rotundifolia Turning Green

i dont really mind that its turning green although i only got it yesterday, if it survives in my tank i dont mind what colour it is lol but does anybody know how much lighting or what kind of lighting i need to keep it a lovely red colour ?

You should ideally aim for high lighting and fertilization for the lovely red color. I attained this with x2 weekly doses of seachem flourish, and x1 40 watt tube, in a 15 gallon tank

not necessarily true, with decent C02 and ferts maintaining the red colour is possible.

thanks for the replys, i just brought some more ferts so i will start dosing regular and see if it makes any difference
