Rosy Barbs And Cichlids?

Hello, I have 3 Neon Rosy Barbs in a 29 gallon tank. I love so many Cichlids, and would love to get some for my tank, but I'm not sure if it would work out...

I've read about the Rams, and Apistos, and they seem small enough, but will they be compatible with Male Neon Rosy Barbs? Also, I read that some of the Cichlids need frozen live food, is that ok for the Rosy's to eat?

i think that rams should be fine with barbs, not too many though. will be fine for the barbs to eat the food as well

You will probably want to get more barbs if you plan on adding cichlids..

Barbs tend to be nippy, and if there aren't enough of them together, they will nip other fish.. If you can get a number of 6+ you should be better off..

I don't know a lot about apistos, but I'm kind of assuming they would be fine with barbs... I know apistos like the bottom of the tank, and are kind of aggressive..

Keyholes might be another option... pretty hardy, not really aggressive, and should be fine with rosys.
