Hi I have a rosy barb in my tank and today after cleaning the tank I have noticed that towards the back by the bottom on both sides there is a red ring and like a White spot on one side and sticky out growth on the other. This is not something I've noticed before. The two things are in the same place on each side andnim
just worried that it is bleeding as another fish, black molly, Is swimming around it biting the sticky out bit. Can anyone help with what this may be?
The only other fish I have in the tank are a molly, cat fish and two tiny other fish.
I have taken a picture if any one wants to see I can email

the fish has been jumping/ pushed up by the air bubbles we have and hitting the glass roof and some how once manage to get through the cables gap and ended up in the floor. Luckily I caught him in time and he's back in the tank and fine. But I just wonder if these sores could be injuries from hitting the roof?!
