Ropefish Help!

So I wanted to get a nice little 'cave' like place for my rope fish to hide herself. As of now she just curls herself up around one of the decorations but I know they like to have little places to hide. Is there any suggestions you guys can give me as to what I can get for her? I was thinking a small pvc pipe. What do you guys think?

to be honest the 4 I kept didn;t use the plec caves i had they used to hide by wood and wrap round and tangle themselves round the plastic plants I had
I don;t believe they really need a load of hiding places like other bottom dwellers often require

I placed some small pieces of slate at an angle at the back of my tank and mine hide behind them.

Btw, apparently Ropes do much better in groups. I have 4. They do spend a lot of time behind their slate caves, but they also come out loads too.

Not sure.
From what I have read, individual fish tend to die for no apparent reason.

How big is your tank?
What else do you have with the ropes?
Can you not add another one?
