Hey all.
Just a few days ago I got a pair of rope-fish. One of them is doing well, however the other has been having more and more trouble keeping the back half of its body underwater. He struggles and jerks trying to keep it down but it is as if there is a balloon tied to him.
He will often give up struggling and just let it float to the top and he will let the rest of himself hang underwater. There is also a little turtle platform in the tank which he now lets himself float underneath and he sleeps like this:

The other ropefish is just fine however it will often curl up next to the one having trouble in-between cruising around the tank.
Much of what i have read indicates this might be a swim bladder infection or indigestion.... but I have no idea how to treat either.
I will note that I have been feeding with blood worms, and some mixed food for my turtles made up of freeze dried meel worms, and other various types of floating pellets made form various vegetation. As of today I have stopped feeding any of the floating food as I have wondered if that could be causing the issue.
The other ropefish has shown little interest in the turtle food and has only (as far as I have seen) been eating the bloodworms.
In addition to the two rope fish the tank (55 gallons) contains a young African knife fish and two hatching yellow bellied slider turtles. They all seem to be getting along peacefully.
Any ideas, or any information I could provide that would be helpful diagnosing?
The poor little guy looks miserable
