I have some Anacharis which is sending out new growth, can i cut off that new growth and root it without it dying, then it send out new growth and get a forest going?

Its a stem plant so basically anything you trim off can be re planted.

How long should i let the growth get before i replant it, cause the new growth is twice the size of the host plant.

If you want a big bushy grouping, then just reach in, snip the plant at the height you want, and plant the top piece. The bottom part that you left planted will branch, and the top part will continue growing.

You can just cut off any side shoots whenever you think they are tall enough.
