Rokeil Sevrum?

hi i'm planning on buying one as i have found a guy close to me selling one, now i can't find much info on these guys, are they rare? if anyone has any knowledge on them or could send me a link to a website that would be great!

are they aggressive? how big to they grow?

They are exactly the same temprement/requirement wise as any Severum is, they are just a different colour strain, which are harder to come by than the usual green, gold varieties. They will require a minimum 75g tank, temp between 24-28c, good quality pellet food, live and frozen foods, reach 8-9" and will be as mad as a hatter like all Sev's

if yoy have a suitable size tank buy it you will love it my rotkeil and my red sev make such a funny double act. as minxy says pretty undemanding fish really quite chilled out too.

I found the rotkeil to be very easy to acquire with just a 40 mile trip to a fish store and bought them labeled "orange shoulder severum". Dont mean to get off topic just wanted to state my experience buying this fish a while back.

they do seem to be a lot more readily availiable in the states
