Hi forum

Just been to colect some granite from where my dad works and managed to get 3 really nice pieces and also picked up a stone which looks like a large pebble.

I have read The Wolfs pinned item on rocks and says granite is perfectly ok for aquarium use but it mentions baking them to kill any nasties.

what temp and for how long should they stay in the oven for.

Depends on the size, but it doesn't take long for the heat to kill off anything. A few minutes in a preheated oven on high will do the trick. Also make sure you give it a good rinse after they cool.
