Rocks In My Tank, Can I Use Any Type?

Hi Im so chuffed with my new tank and i have been avin a good nosy at other peoples pics, I fancy having some rocks in mine 2. Can you just get the ones one the fish store, or can you use any, say off the beach or in your garden? If so do they need any special treatment before putting them in with your fish?

Well I did boil my ocean rocks. If you can't get them onto the stove in a pot you could put them in a container and pour boiling water on them.

id be far happyer with the boiled water, option with slate, its a sedimentry rock, and if water makes its way into tthe rock itself it could split, or go pop. lol that would make a mess of your pan at best.
