Can you put rocks from the beach in a tank for decoration?

I presume it would be ok aslong as they are boiled.

scrub em' and put hot water em' that's what I do and never had any problems :good:

I wouldn't use rocks from the beach, as you don't know if they're safe.
You could try pouring some vinegar on them, if they fizz, then they're not safe.
Whatever you do, don't boil them, they could explode, just run boiling water over them

Google "mountain minnow biotope" by George Farmer, thats all done with rocks from a Cornish beach :) and looks stunning

I've used smooth rocks from a beach in my tanks with no problems. Just gave them a scrub under the hot tap :)

I've used rocks and driftwood from the beach. I just soak in vinegar and the hottest water possible from the tap. Never had any problems.
