Rock Wool?

The stuff that plastic pots have in them when you buy crypts or somehting from the LFS. It recently occurred to me that perhaps this is not the best thing to grow plants in.
So,
Will crypts be fine in rockwool permanently or will I need to take them out?

I think that you should take them out.
I can't remember the effects of rock wool....

i have seen people successfully grow plants in rock wool, but personally i think it restricts the roots and growth a little so best to take it out IMO
