I've decided to go down the route of RO water in my tanks.  Two reasons, one I am having a bit of an algae issue which I believe to partly be caused from to high a level of phosphates in my tap water. Two, in my shrimp tank, I'm really struggling to keep the small yellow shrimp.  What should I be putting with the RO water, as I know I can't just put it in on it's own?

I am using RO water in my 22 litre nano tank due to high PH in my tap water

I buy my RO water from my LFS with minerals already added

I have had my cherry shrimps 2 weeks now and are settled and very lively

I ordered a RO unit so I could make the RO water myself I figured it would probably be cheaper in the long run.  But then realised that I would need to put something back in to the water but wasn't really sure what!  I've found some stuff to put in but it's not looking that cheap!

I think i paid £2.00 for 10 litres of RO water with the minerals in

I have only gone down the route of RO water for my nano shrimp tank but will not go down that route for my 200l lol
