Ro - V's - Tap Water ?

My question is what is best, 100% dechlorinated Tap water as it has lots of natural minerals in it, but also lots of nasties, or 100% buffered RO water. I know some people like to use a 50/50 mix, but what is the consensus on this, I've just purchased a six stage RO unit, as I intend to use it for marine in the future, but for now I'm using it as a four stage. Any suggestions if I could just use 3 stages and not bother with either dechlorinator or buffer?
