Ro Unit

Well i just got my new RO unit however its a 4 stage in total its 3 stages then a DI i got it from www.ro-man.co.uk its the 75 quid one

problem is i just plumped it in and but i use the RO and ran it thou the RO membrane but i left it going for 4 hours and when i came to test the water it still had high phosphate and PH now the pressure was quite low going into the membrane but when i check the water it is alot cleaner how i was wondering if any one else had a simlar unit now when i connect the 4th stage the DI the water is pure but it doesnt seem as thou the RO 3rd stage is working and i dont want the DI needing refilling every 200 ltrs of water... any ideas ? if its working correctly for a RO man?

How long has hte RO unit been running? if its new then its a oogd idea to run it for a day to settle it in.

If this still doesnt work then give RO Man a phonecall. I know him personally and he is extremly helpful and would be more than willing ot asist you should you have a problem with one of his products.
I have RO man products and they are extremly high quality so i can say that you have definately made the right purchase.

I have done about 300 ltrs of product water however my pressure gague says im only getting about 35 to 40 psi
i had to run a API Di unit after the membrane then another DI that came with the system to get good water but i sold my API Di unit so i just have the standard unit with the standard DI and last night when making some water i have 1mg of phosphate in the water which is no good!

It was quite cold but i would expect it to work alot better maybe i should leave it running for a day?

I did take it to work and connect it up there and the PSI is 55 there and still i got 5mg of phosphate just after the RO membrane! this should be alot lower shouldnt it ?

Should be alot lower.

I am no expert on Ro mans products or the pressure needed to run his products effectively. I urge you to contact him as he will probably be able to pinpoint the problem and give a solution within a few minutes.

i will do because im having a real hard time getting it to run correctly as i need this for water changes since i sold my older slower system

Tell ya what hes really good and on the ball we arnt far off sorting it sounds like its my fault thou lol

ill be buying a 6 stage soon as i get paid or even the merlin for the shop.

All it was missing was a rubber washer on the end of the RO membrane its now working at 35PSI and still kicking out a TDS reading of 0 before the DI awsome but of kit i reccommed this system to any one

i even got a Free ltr of DI crytals which is even better im so happy with my new RO unit and for 75 quid its a bargin compared to my old 750 quid purity on top system.
