Ro Systems And Uv Sterilisers

Hi everybody was in my local maidenhead aquatics today and was having a little browse about at these pieces of kit. I have no expirience with either and was curios if anyone would suggest either for a tropical set up?

I am considering the UV sterilisers for both my 4ft and 2ft tank (one ea of course) as i seen there are various sizes available.

As for the RO systems i understand they have instructions etc but im under the impression they will be a little harder and more delicate to set up?

So simple question, whats everyones opinion on both these pieces of kit?
