Is ures coldwter tho thats why i want to do it i am hoing to buy 1 small perch they live in ponds aswell but i want to try make it like a river look

I have a heater set to 20 degrees. The Minnows could survive without it, but the Loaches need it. I did not think that you could get a Perch small enough to live in a 20G?

Perch at a centre pond my way only get 4 inch

Fair enough. Guess you would need 5 or 6 as they are a shoaling fish. Would be nice. How long is the tank?

About 3 and a half feet

Bit of both mostly sand tho
