RIP Fish

i feel terrible

I had 3 female bettas in a tank i spent months figuring out how i wanted it decorated what filter was best how would they be happiest and it was an hour drive to pick up the fish i wanted cos no one stocks female bettas around here...


just got home from cinema with a mate and the heater in the tank had broken, my fish have literally been boiled teh smell is horrible and the fish just riggid with white eyes i dunno whether im angry or wanna cry anymore

3 gorgeous fish gone just cos the thermostate broke u wait till i get to my Ifs

well ive now drained the tank but im gonna keep the fish to prove the filter is faulty when i got back tomoro i just cant believe it... im moving house so cant restart straight away if i wanted to but i wanted to take all the fish with me!

itll be to far to drive to pick up the same fish again from that pet store anyway- dont like driving fish over 2 hours!

Hi.
I'm terribly sorry to hear about your loss.
I'm always worried that the heaters in my tanks will stop working - although i only have bettas, so it woudln't REALLY make that much diff - but if they wacked out and go too hot, they'd all be gone. So sad - but it was nothing you did wrong.

Again, I'm sorry for your loss.
Don't let it stop you from getting more/other fish.
