Rip 25 Fish

10 platy fry (mom turned canabalistic i think)
9 nearly fully grown tiger barbs
3 mountain minnows
1 6" plec
2 fully grown apple snails

the heaters failed in 2 tanks due to me i switched them off by accident at the wall

My only hope is the mountain minnows tank might come back now the heater is on as they can go low carn't they the tank temp is 12 degrees C. they have no films and there fins are up and they are upright.

Let the temp gradually go back up on its own.
Don't do warm water changes the worst thing you can do.

went away for a week central heating off

the barbs tank is long gone but the minnows swim yippe tank temp now 14.5 and i have turned the heater back off to acclimatise them beforetaking it up a few more

the barbs and all fish in there are covered in fungas

looks a bit like a full bodycovering of this but i think common mold has kicked in now

the apple snail in with the minnows lives

how i have no idea as it must have droped to 10 degrees C at times, I just pocked him to remove him and as i touched his soft bit he closed up. yay so the minnows and one snail live.

Thats terrible. It must be really cold where you live. Like snowing! Im glad some of them have made it.
