Rio 180 Cichlids Tanks

We've had this tank for a few years now but the past month me and my wife decided to go down the Cichlids route for a change.


We kept a couple of tropical's in there loaches x2 and a big cat fish































Hoping to add more Cichlids in the tank soon

They seem fine at the moment no worries at all. Though i haven't used any salts for the cichlids?

To be honest i have absolutley no idea when it comes to cichlids! Just know they are territorial. Nice to know that the zebra is able to hold its own in there though, they are pretty peaceful in general but like there territories too.

Do you only have the one zebra?

I have a pair had them for a while now they keep to there own and hide under the rock or in the plants.

Yeah my loaches like hiding under wood too. The zebra shares a cave with a bristlenose. Even found them sharing bits of food too.

Nice looking tank, love the selection of fish in there too. What kinda plec is it?
