Right Fish For My 10 Gallon Tank

Hi,

I currently have 3 Mickey Mouse Platies in my recently cycled tank. 1 Big Red and 1 Big Golden and a smaller red one - all males as I did not want families etc. I do find some amount of bullying, banging into etc by the golden one to next red one and by the bigger red to smaller red. At times the bullied one especially small red goes pretty much into hiding and had even less food today morning - though it did eat some in night.

Is this right stocking or I need to change something?
Also should I add 2-4 more male platies or some other fish?

My only requirement is that I have a toddler child and basically want bright colorful and peaceful fish and aquarium and no breeding etc. I also am not so keen for live plants since it may complicate setup and maintenance and not interested for invertebrates.
Please suggest.

From my own experience, I have had 1 Long fin gold Danio with 2 of the Platies above but the Platies used to get shy, hidden etc with the Danio and with the energy the Danio had and how it troubled the Platies - I moved him out and brought a Platy - thus making it 3 male platies.

At the very beginning, 2 serpae tetra and the 1 Long fin gold Danio above - the Danio kept chasing the tetra's quite often moving them to a corner whenever they would come out . So I moved the Tetras out as I would prefer active but peaceful fish - not chasing each other / troubling each other majority.

I have read articles on general stocking for 10 G etc but any special guidance on the above situation would be very helpful. Also I would like to preferably stabilize on a right stocking

If you want to keep the platies, adding some more males may distribute the aggression over a few fish rather then just one. Adding some wide plants may also help break up the fishes line of sight and help reduce aggression. If you were looking to take out the platies, 7-8 male guppies would be bright and active aswell.
