Just wanted to say Hi again. I'm getting ready to start a Discus breeding operation (hopefully). Getting ready to set up a 120 (show tank) a 38 (breeder tank), 55 (tank to move pairs after breeding) and going to switch around my 75 to a planted and use my 29 for possibly another breeder tank). I've been reading on Discus breeding over a year and have gotten the planted tank knowledge over the last 1-1/2 years. All planted are hi-tech with C02 (ph controller). all filters wet dry. Sounds like a hugh undertaking but I have nothing else to do when not at work. I hope everyone doesn't mind the questions I'll be asking. Great site

This is great! I have been a discus lover for over 20 years. I concider them to be the king of all tropical freshwater fish. The last time I tried to keep them (20 years ago), the stock was poor, at best, and very expensive. I got 6 dime size discus. They grew nicely. At about half dollar size, I woke up one morning and they were all dead. I haven't had the heart to try again. Over the past few years, I've been looking into getting more, but I can't seem to find any good quality discus at a decent price, unless I have them imported from another country, the the shipping kills me. Maybe we can do business sometime down the road. BTW, Welcome back to the forum! Great to have you here! :good:
