these are the fry from this pair, theres only 4 surviving fry, there are 2 of ech of the following fry pics, thought it was a nice combo and not expected at all
the male

the female

and the 2 different types of fry
the steel gene

and the gold/yellow gene which came from nowhere and should be really nice but it aint the first time fry have changed colour as they get only so dont hold your breath

now ive actually previewed this thread i can see the yellow in the male so thats where its come from but cant be bothered to delete it since it took me a while to get imageshack to work

they were slow growers as had prob finding great food for them, this is why i lost most of them, they are around 2 months now if not a bit older, father was only 4 months when i spawned him, he is 7 months old now but hes still a tiny fish at about 2" so it might be to do with his gentics as well to why they are small.
gunna keep the golds and cross them if they turn out to be male and female.
