Hey this is just a dumb question I've always wondered about, if reef tanks are this hard to maintain and set up, then why are they so prevalent in restruants and doctors offices world wide? I doubt there are fish experts workingat ever Red Lobster and dental office in the USA. Are there companies with the sole purpose of setting up and maintaining fish tanks?

yes there are companies that just maintain and setup tanks. usually a weekly maintenance contract goes along with the tank sale.
