I have had coldwater fish before a couple of times but now wish to keep tropical fish.
My question is how long should i leave the filter and heater running before i put fish in the tank?
Also do you know any good websites that explain things like equipment etc.
By the way some of you have

Unfotunaly about a month ago our 12yr old German Shepherd Luke had to pe put down due to cancer. A pic of luke can be found at the here
