Restored thread - pleco.

Yesterday I adopted a 13 inch pleco from a co-worker of mine for my 200 gallon. Yes he's huge... Well my fiance was with me and god forbid he had to be the one to get the fish into the net. Well he picked it up and it screamed! Mark (my fiance) was freaked out of his wits and dropped the massive pleco back into the water. He stared at it and then the biggest grin spread on his face. Like a little kid he tried to make the poor pleco scream again.... When it did, he looked like a kid given a huge lolli pop. I said to him: "hun...If I catch you anywhere NEAR my tank...I will beat you!!"


I caught him with his hand in the tinfoil/oscar/pleco tank last night.....Poor Squeaky... :kira: :kira: :kira: :kira: Any suggestions on how to keep him away??? lol

it screamed??? the only noise my gibbiceps pleco makes (almost a foot in length) is a puring noise like a cat. it only does this when i pick it up and hold it...and pet it.........i guess its quite a bit like a cat!

Maybe you shouldn't feed the tank for a few days so they're "nice and hungry" the next time he decides to play with the pleco. :kira:
