Reply To Worst Tank Ever. (look At This Its Sick)

None of those are any where near as bad as "the pleco tank" that appeared several months ago. :(

I agree, though, they are terribly overstocked; however, the third "guppy" tank isn't as bad as it looks, since that's how guppies live in the wild.

It could just be the lighting, but to my eye, the danios up at the top look DYED. I know there are pinkish danios (in fact pearl danios are my personal favorites) but they're more of a cotton candy/mother of pearl pink, not BRIGHT MAGENTA! And unfortunately, sometimes "gold"/"albino" zebras are sold dyed because their light bodies take color well.... Ugh. That upsets me about as much as the overstocking.

Ooo your from the Silicon Valley?? Mee too. I think if San Jose is apart of that.
Yep, it is. San Jose, Santa Clara, Mountain View, Sunnyvale, Campbell, Milpitas, Palo Alto, etc, are all "Silicon Valley". You been to any SVAS meetings?

That guy knows its overstocked too, I'm willing to bet he posted that video just for the attention he'd get. Usually if a person gets flak for something they post on you tube they'll defend themselves if they weren't expecting to catch the flak, this guy hasn't done that so my guess is he knows darn well he has a screwed up tank.

nah no one in there right mind would do that, besides, he deleted my comments and they were rather harsh.
seriously can you imagine how much that stock of fish cost, he wouldnt spend all that money just to troll youtube theres way easyer ways to do it, what your saying makes no sence, he was defending himself too, but i'm sure he got tired and just stop trying.

lfs means local fish store

ohhhh... right i knew that :shifty: not... :-(
merci beaucoup

This link should be a big help; http://www.fishforums.net/index.php?showtopic=6042

awsome lol :shifty:

The decorations in the tank aren't exactly brilliant either.

I, like the rest of you, just can't understand why someone who obviously enjoys keeping fish and probably knows a fair bit about them seems to think it's right to keep a tank that overstocked. :(

Also, I noticed one of you commented that it wasn't a great idea to keep Danios and Angelfish together, is this true?

lmao no lol thats bull, danio's get a fair size, and there realy fast and keep a low profile, if they get attacked they wont fight back or nip fins, there ugly but if you like them you can keep them with angel fish, many people will even keep a school of cardinals with angels there agresivness is offen exagerated, just give them lots of space and plenty to eat and there usaly fine

come to think of it you have to be carefull with what you put anglefish with because they have very long fins that are tasty to any agresive or fin niping fish, angel fish are pritty hardy they would probaby be ok just have very short ugly fins, and if your water wasn't the best they could get itch or fin rot.
