Hi,

I currently have a Red Sea Max 250 that has 6 x T5 39w tubes. 3x white and 3x blue. I have been advised to change these every 9-12 months.

Do you do this at the same time or change a couple at a time?

Does anyone recommend any particular manufacturer? I have been looking at DD Razor Light tubes. Has anyone got any experience with these?

Thanks for any advice.

Stef.

I would change 2 a month keep costs low every month as well is it will not shock the corals too much

personaly I use the ATI tubes

3 x ATI Blue Plus T5 Tube
3 x ATI Aquablue Speziale T5 Tube

Have to second the ATI tubes. They are very, very good.

I have recently been using the iaquatics tubes and while they work well they are very yellow (they didnt do 10k tubes) and the light output while being better for coral growth just doesn't look as nice.

Its a juwel 54w tube

If it is a 54w standard T5 then yes you can get them will send you the link for the people I Used if you are not sure the 54w T5 should be 1149mm

Can you send me the link too please :) I bought mine from Bluezoo and they totally messed up my order and it was a nightmare to get sorted out (in the end I had to go onto a forum they sponsored and post there to get a response). They did promise me 4 free tubes as compensation but I never did get them. Would never, ever use them again.
