Replacing Corys With Ottos

Since ottos are small and mostly harmless, Would with be an ideal replacement for corys with hairgrass etc.

Was thinking of the same thing when my cories pass away as i am having hair algae growing on one of my ornaments also would want a fish that stucks on the glass
