Hi guys. I've had 4 male gouramis (I know that's a big nono
) for almost a month now.
They don't fight much, just show their dominance now and then if another gets too near their space.
Recently I noticed one fella looking very "blur" but I'm not sure if he's considered "weak". He still eats but just looks very sad. I also noticed a bump on each side, below his dorsal fin at the end. They don't look like pimples, they just look as though something is sticking out. Will try and get photos asap.
I'm thinking of getting him out of the tank so the other fish won't stress him. Is that a good or bad idea? If I rehome him, how big should the tank be at least? And do I need an oxygen pump since gouramis are labyrinth fish?
Oh yeah almost forgot, just now when I was watching him, he stays in the middle area of the tank and sometimes goes to the surface to breathe. None of my other gouramis do that. Is that something to worry about?
