Rehomed Carp

On Sunday I moved a large carp from my Father-in-laws pond to mine as it was getting a touch to big for his pond. When I built his new pond eight years ago this fish was in a really bad way and spent a week in a tank full of methylene blue, we think a cat may have had a go at it because it was covered in scars and fungus. Now eight years on it has grown over 13" in length and is now 19" long.

I already have a large Leather Carp in my pond as well as some large Koi which are all eating machine but this one can devour food like nothing else.

Lovely carp, my dad has some bigger than that lol, they do grow really big.

my cousin has a 6 inch mirror X koi cross. It looks like a funny mustard yellow fish that kind of looks like it wa half lionhead with half oranda and a little but of ranchu in it (but it definitely is a koi X mirror)
