This is my first time to post in Catfish Cradle, yay for me! I just got a new little gem today, and wanted to show him off. It may actually be a her, but I can't tell... maybe you guys can tell me if I ought to rename him Regina?
I'm told he's a South American bumblebee catfish.

Never heard of that catfish before but it's face looks a bit like a redtail cats

I have had one before a long time ago. He ate all of my neons and he only came out at night... I know catfish are nocturnal but this one was practicaly allergic to light... They will eat anything that fits in their mouth. My lfs has like 20 right now but I learned my lesson already.

Yeah, I'm already aware of his habits, but it doesn't bother me much... I may only get to see him a couple of times a month, but I think it's worth it for such an interesting looking fish :)

They are also called Microglanis Ihreni .. or something like that. I have 3 at the moment its very hard to sex them we are assuming the fattest one is likely to be female!! they love to hide and you will not see them much unless they are pushed out of their hiding place by another fish !! :D Great littel fish.. ugly but cute at the same time!! they are some of my favourite fish!!
