Anyone else out there suffered from MTS and then stopped short and realised that all these different tanks just aren't as much enjoyment as one tank was?

I am looking forward to getting back to having just one tank again (of course it helps that it is nice and big).

By the way, will soon have a rekord 70, rekord 120 and a small aqua one tank (nice little thing) for sale if anyone interested.

Can't say I am a member of the reformed MTS society

I am currently weighing up what sized tank I should buy in a couple of months once I save my pennies. I can't decide between a 4x2x2 or a 5x2x2 (either would fit but in different spots of the room and the missus is hinting at only one  ). I know which one I'd rather - personally I'd love it to be somewhere along the lines of 7x2.5x2.5 - but it's a matter of space unfortunately :(

Whichever I do decide though, it will be filled with peacock eels, plants, driftwood and maybe a few catfish, should look nice and hopefully produce some fry :shifty: .

hell now !! i love all 8 of my tanks cause it allows the opportunity to keep a genus that i couldnt keep with another. For instance, my Jack Dempsey would have an absolute field day in my LB tank ! and i could ever see a day that i would want to get rid of either.

Suffice to say my MTS is quite extreme, to the extent where i also own 23 24x15x12 tanks from a fish house that i bought. Just waiting to build my own fish house now and away i go again !

Well....I have a 55 gallon that I've just changed all the contents of (fish, water, decorations, substrate) to completely change the theme.

I have a 10 gallon filled with saltwater, LR, and a goby I never see cause he's always hiding in his cave with his little blind shrimp buddy.

Then there's the beautiful gorgeous 5 gallon in the storage room that sits churning away, newly mixed saltwater....in the dark, never seen.

I'm thinking of trading in the contents of the saltwater tank and that will free up two tanks.

But.....will I be a reformed MTS sufferer.....or will I break down and fill the 10 gallon with snails, shrimp, and guppies? lol

Heck no!
I'm craving two 55 gallons at the moment... one to upgrade my 29 gallon, one to get a flowerhorn (and then upgrade the fish to my 80 gallon when I get that dream 300 gallon in the future ;) )

i have :)
I had 7-8 tanks at one time, most of them were for breeding etc and all over 10 gallons
now i only have 2, one community tank and one divided betta tank :)

Oh yeah.... when I said one tank, I meant my own tank. The other half still has a tank too, so I suppose we will still be a multiple tank household...
