Reed Fish...

Has anyone ever owned a Reed fish?
Thinking of getting one but not too sure. I've read about them and they seem to have a very placid personality etc but not sure whether they'll get on with my 2 fire eels and my 2 weather loach?
Any help would be appreciated thanks.

Just a quick google to see what they look like and they look like they get big enough to eat weather loaches. Do they get big? I can see why you want one they are cool!

I think that your reed fish will grow to the size in which they'll easily be able to eat your weather loaches, but I think the fire eels are fine.

They supposed to grow up to 14.5 inches but what I've read about them, they're so placid and even get bullied by a lot smaller fish in some cases.
I think i might just leave it for now.
I think it's trial and error sometimes. Some people have trouble with fish and some people don't.
I had 2 fantastic silver sharks a while ago and lost them due to my mistakes. They never fought once and hardly ever left each others side yet the 2 new ones i have are constantly bickering!!
