this is how it did look a few weeks ago. i hated it it was all plastic plants because i didnt have much money when i set up the tank

then it looked like this

and now this

its still not finnished i still have another 3 big bits of wood soking and i want to get some more live plants. here they are the bit thats alredy in the tank is the smallest bit

:D

the real plants are a nice improvement. the tank will look great when they fill out.

thanks
i think it will look alot nicer once i get the wood in aswell but its just taking soo long to soak because the big bit is 3 1/2 foot and about 2"+ thick
:D

i hear you there i remember a piece of redmoor root i got for my tank i had to soak for almost 8 weeks and even after that i had to weigh it down with rocks for a week or so . its worth the time and effort tho. are you going to have planst on the wood?

yh they have been soaking for about 2 weeks now. im not to bothered though because the tank is still beter than it was and i found the wood in the forest round the corner from my house and sanded it so its not like i spent loads of money and am going to have to wait for agers to get it in. i dont know i might do but i quite like just the wood on its own but im defently going to get a few more plants :D

yh i like my apisto side of the 14g all its got is 4 coconut caves and 5 bits of wood

not that good of a pic but the only one i could find

the biggest bit of wood has sunk just waiting for the other 2. i just threw it in for now so its not that nice but ill rearange it all when the others sink

Looks like you have planted your java ferns into the substrate though. They should be attatched to bogwood or stones.
