I'm thinking of selling this piece of redmoor root wood and was wondering what you thought it was worth? I bought it for just under over £100 My nerite recently laid some(infertile) eggs on it. Size is about 35cm tall...

Someone ripped you off, no offence but I bought a piece twice the size and it's was £9

the most i'd pay for a piece that size is about £20.

A company called thegreenmachine lol

I just checked and the most expensive piece I came across was £79

I just nearly spat my tea all over the laptop. £100? Really? I would keep it because you're never going to get anywhere near that back for it.

I guess so. I'm thinking of adding it to my 125l because I really want to get some manzanita and add some java mossx to it. Though it would be lost in the 125 because that is just a fry tank. Decisions decisions...

I should mention that I did chop a piece off of the wood. NO pic but here is a scree grab from a vid where it's in it's original state.

Blimey...

Also, imo, Java moss would ruin the wood. Something like Star moss or Fissidens would be a better option?

Interesting...

I've seen more than a few examples of manz with java moss and from what I gather it works well just so long as you keep it trimmed. Do you have any pics of Star moss or Fissidens on manz wood?

No I dont, but I would want something a little more compact to compliment the shape of the wood. Maybe riccia would work too.

in my Cuban Delight journal there's shots of fissidens on wood mate.

I like I like lol hmm...

By the way steevo slightly off topic but what titles do you run multi on? I got beast mode on UC3 from time to time

My apologies lol Translated from gamer jargon the above should read. I also have a PS3 and am wondering which titles you have which also have multiplayer as well as the main campaign. I myself am quite adept at Uncharted 3 lol

I'm usually on COD most days, F1, or Battlefield 3
