Redecorated 100gal

Hi! I redid my 100gal, and I am pretty happy with the results so I thought I'd share.

Here's the tank before...

Here it is now. I still can't get rid of that darn hard water stain, but I still think it looks a lot better. All the fish are fighting now trying to find new territories. I also moved Mongo into the 150, until his 75 gets here. I was just worried with all the new rocks that he'd knock one into the glass. Anyway, he's the after...

Tanks looks great! Have you tried using a razor blade to get the water stain off? Should work.

Yeah I have actually, it helps, but that is one tough stain! The tank sat half full for over 6 months with no fish in it and now I'm paying the price.
Let that be a lesson to you all-if you have an empty tank either top it off or drain it!

Do you like the rocks, or should I rearrange again?

I think the rocks look great! Also another thing you could tried is salt...but, not no mo!

Thanks guys, I think I'm pretty happy with it, I'll probably tweak here and there, but overall I like it.

Mongo is settling in the 150 nicely as well.

Personally I like to see a little more green in a tank ) but that's just me.....unless of course you were going for the ALL rock look......then it LOOKS GREAT!!!

I think Mo is sooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo cute!!!!

He reminds me of my largest SD.....almost exactly the same...wierd eh!

Lookin good! But, just like FM and others told me when I did my tank, it needs MORE ROCKS!

And silver, plants aren't really good for African tanks, especially mbuna. They will just dig 'em up over and over. It can be done, but all rocks is more like their natural habitat.

I wish there were more plants in there...I put the two in and uploaded the pics (5 mins top) they'd already pulled them up little brats.
