does anybody know about these fish and what fish can be kept with them.

they are mbuna from lake malawi. the scientific name is psuedotropheus estherae. it is a mouthbrooder and best kept in groups of 3 females to each male at the minimum. can be kept with other mbuna. what specifically did you have in mind?

They are a fairly easy Mbuna, standard Mbuna rules apply.
I've kept a few of these, quite easy to breed and not particularly agressive to other fish.

I've got 4 red zebra in a 135 gal with 2 Ice Blue, 3 Demansoni, 5 Rusty's, 3 johanni, 4 Cobalt blue, 4 Kenyi and 3 Socolofi. They're very docile and don't cause any trouble.

I have 1 red Zebra (Estherae) in my Mbuna tank and he is fine with the others (see signature). He used to be the tank boss until I added a larger orange blotch zebra, but he was never overly agressive, lovely fish.
