I have a Father Red zebra in a tank all by himself 36 gallon.   Another 45 gallon tank with 15 of his babies that are grown up now a bit and the mom.  Do you guys think it is OK to put them all back together.  The babies are about 2-3 inches now and look like they can hold there own.  In the past the Dad has been a bully but I'm hoping he will be able to change.  He looks very lonely in the tank all by himself and looks at me as if he can go in with his wife and kids.  Currently the 45 gallon tank is very peaceful.  I am concerned that throwing him in their will cause problems but, I don't like to see him all by himself.

Please advise

Thank you,

Kevin

The mother is in there and haven't eaten the fry?

If the fry are grown and aren't too small or the father to eat. I don't see a problem with adding him in. Unless he's known for being aggressive, which danios can be known to be nippy. But danios are shoaling fish and should be kept in groups of at least 6-8 danios. He's probably stressed all alone by himself, but if he begins to create problems then I would separate him from the group. But as long as the fry aren't too small, everything should be fine.
