I have looked around for a fair while but no luck,
I just got home from work and noticed my shark is in his little cave but is swimming upside down,
and goes normal for about 30 seconds then swims back on his side or upside down,
Not physical signs of illness do they do this, He sometimes will swim beside the filter vertical also.

im sure my brothers red tail black shark did this. Well, he would swim vertically beside the filter, and at the glass

i think the vertical to the pump is because its dark and he likes to hide,
but his doing loop the loop its really weird...

They are acrobats - they will get into any position to eat algae of the leaves / tank.

Explain a little more what he is doing if this answer doesnt satisfy you, but i kno all of my sharks, including them, go upside down or sideways to either hide, eat, etc... and they do it fairly often. If he shows no other problems atall, maybe consider it. If it doesnt seem to be the answer then just go into alittle more detail of his actions and what makes u think there is a problem..
