Red Tail Shark

As in the title. My friend has a red tail black shark in his 60L with 6 male guppies and 6 black neon tetras.

How long til his shy little fish outgrows the tank and also becomes aggressive? He doesn't wanna listen to me that it's a bad idea. And I am aware that he's overstocked

I've not seen it in a while, well since he bought it, but he says it's still at the shy hiding stage but yeah i guessed it wouldn't be long.

I can't see him being able to afford to upgrade to the neccessary tank size either. Is it right to say it needs a 4fter?

well, im not all clear on the foot thing... but a rainbow would need a 30 gal.

edit: oh you said red tail (they all look so similar!) he will need a 45 gallon+

Yeah he's got like a 15g tank. I forsee disaster but he's not listening. He says he'll upgrade in due course but there is no way he'll be able to afford a 45g tank within the next year even if he finds a cheapy on ebay.

I have warned him it's gonna get aggressive, i've directed him to aqadvisor to show him he's overstocked, i've quoted things off here that say he's heading for trouble. I just dunno how to make him see sense. Doesn't help that he wanted the red tail from day 1
