My RTS got ick about a week and a half ago. I have treated it with meds for 6 days and the temp is 28c. My common pleco got it FAR worse and was covered in spots. I added the meds in yesterday again for the 2nd dosage. The spots on the pleco have gone already and it is acting fine again. No other fish are showing any signs of it.

But my RTS was looking for food, it was poking around in the gravel, I assume thats what it was doing. It came across part of a plant and starting eating it but every so often it swam fast and banged its side against the floor. It has faint grey dots on but they dont seem to be coming off the fish, they seem to be its natural pattern.

Does it still have ick or was it just clearing the floor where it was eating?

The shark could still have whitespot.
Do the tiny spots look a greyish white.

What are your present water stats in ammonia, nitrite, nitrate, and ph.
How many gallons or litres is the tank.
How many fish and which type.

They are greyish yeah. And i dont know i need to buy a new testing kit this weekend. Dont get paid until then.
The tank is 20g and the fish is 2". It will be re homed to a 110g soon.

If the spots are greyish and small it sounds like the shark has whitespot.
You need to carry on treating for whitespot.
