Red Tail Gourami Enemies

I had a 2inch common pleco and i was wondering if i put it with my red tail gourami which are about 7-10 inches are they going to peck on my pleco? thanks

Are you talking about giant gouramies (Osphronemus laticlavius possibly?). Then I assume you have a huge tank and the plec should be able to find somewhere to hide. They are usualy ignored. Having said that, the gouramies grow quicker than the common plec would so there may come a point where they can fit it in their mouth and eat it. I'd suggest you keep the plec seperate until it is larger - or find it a new home.

i doubt that your gourami will attack the pleco, if your still a lil nervous, you can always put some decorations around your tank so it can hide if anything happens
